Guten Morgen Community! 😍 👍 We are looking for a Resident Assistant (RA) to join our CIEE Berlin Team! 👏 The Resident Assistant (RA) is a key member of our team, because it serves as a liaison between the students and CIEE Berlin staff. They enforce housing policies, foster a safe and supportive living environment, and organize community-building events. The RA also acts as a "cultural ambassador", helping our US students adapt to life in Berlin. 😍 Key Responsibilities: -Develop positive professional relationships with students while helping them in their adjustment to life in Berlin and creating an atmosphere of respect and support.  -Maintain accurate accommodation check-in / check-out protocols.  -In coordination with the Student Life Office, assists in conducting elements of student orientation activities, including group icebreakers, group meals, community-building activities, etc.  -Know and enforce CIEE student housing rules and the best practices of a shared lived experience.  -Lead moderations between roommates / floormates and/or conflict resolution.  -Assist in maintaining clean, orderly public spaces (lobby, classrooms, lounges, kitchens), and support in clear communication regarding necessary maintenance in common spaces and students’ rooms. -Participate in health, safety, security trainings. Follow CIEE health, safety, security protocols and provide support in case of emergencies.  -Escort students to medical care providers when necessary.  -Stay alert to student behavioral concerns or housing issues. Communicate and coordinate regularly with Student Life Manager and/or Student Support Coordinators regarding student well-being.  -Communicate and coordinate regularly with Campus Operations/Housing team regarding building maintenance and cooperation with external housing partners. Requirements: -Knowledge of Berlin and willingness to support students in cultural adaptation. -Adaptability to respond quickly to changing circumstances and work flexible hours. -Proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and discretion. -Advanced English and German skills. -Experience in intercultural environments (study/work abroad, tourism, or student services). -Legal status permitting employment in Germany.
