This week marks the end of an era as we close our semi-pilot scale biorefinery 🏭, which during the COVID-19 pandemic, stood as a beacon of hope and innovation 💡. Our unique venture transformed cardboard waste into bio-ethanol 🌿🔬, providing essential disinfectant solutions when they were most needed.
As the sole facility dedicated to producing bioethanol for disinfection in Israel at the time, the impact of our work went beyond environmental sustainability 🌎, touching lives ❤️ and safeguarding communities 🏘️. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, we take pride in our achievements and the difference we’ve made 🙏.
For those curious about our bioproduct's other... "potential" uses, let's just say that our team once joked about a moonshine named 'Cardboardnol' 🍺. Its taste? Surprisingly not bad, with a very "earthy" vibe 😜. But rest assured, our focus stayed on sanitation, not spirits!
In a light-hearted twist, we're not just closing; we're 'recycling' 🔄 😉 our efforts and the spirit of innovation into new ventures within our lab 🧪. The journey doesn’t end here but transforms into our next chapter of impact 🚀.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on this remarkable journey 🤝. Here’s to continued innovation and making a difference, one sustainable step at a time 🌱.
