Investing in Women (IW) supports local partners in Southeast Asia to help leading businesses take actionable steps to strengthen gender equality in their workplaces. To establish benchmarks, companies can undertake the Gender Equality Assessment, Results, and Strategies (GEARS) tool, the first Workplace Gender Equality (WGE) assessment tool designed specifically for the ASEAN market. Since 2016, IW partners have conducted 110 assessments (*) for 94 companies, which represent over 621,000 employees across Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam.
