The Fastest Man Aims for His Own Sneaker! 🚀 For sprinter Noah Lyles, being the fastest man on the planet is more than gold medals and bragging rights – he’s aiming for a signature sneaker. “I want my own shoe. I’m serious,” Lyles declared after his 100-meter victory at the Paris 2024 Olympics. “Track spikes don’t pay. Sneakers do. It’s crazy that, with all the medals and fame track athletes get, we don’t have our own sneakers yet.” While legends like Michael Johnson and Usain Bolt had their own signature shoes, track and field remains a niche sport. Adidas has just released an interesting sneaker collection in collaboration with Doctor Strange. So, the collection showcases three distinct models: the Handball Spezial, Gazelle Indoor, and New York. Each has a symbol of one of the Mystical Sanctums engraved at the back.  (no, I am not explaining what these sanctums are if you haven’t seen the film) What’s cool? They’ve kept the look pretty low-key with a hint of that Marvel magic—like subtle colours mixed with some funky designs on the insoles and special symbols on the heels. Unlike those loud movie-themed collections we’ve seen before (remember the flashy Deadpool kicks and endless barbie collabs?), Adidas chose a more chilled route here. The colours are easy on the eyes, and the designs aren’t screaming "I came from a movie merch store!" This feels more like something you'd wear because you genuinely like the style, not just because you're a fan of the films. Even with this subtle approach, I do wonder if people are really going to go for these? What do you think?
