I believe that nonprofits, government, and other cause-based organizations have untapped potential in using audio and video to drive meaningful impact. Over the past few years, I’ve felt a deepening connection to the work being done by nonprofits and government agencies—organizations that tirelessly serve communities, often without recognition. Through my work with the Marion County Public Health Department, the Indiana Department of Health, and the Burnt Out Network (to name a few), I’ve seen how storytelling, especially through audio and video, can amplify the voices of those doing the hard, necessary work of change. These experiences have inspired me to focus even more intentionally on creating spaces for these voices to be heard, fostering empathy, understanding, and action. To reflect this renewed focus, I’ve rebranded my business, formerly MyPodcast.Media, to AdvoCast. AdvoCast—named for ‘Advocacy’ and ‘Podcasts’—works closely with a select number of clients to amplify your mission, drive engagement, and inspire action. If you’re connected, either directly or indirectly, to a nonprofit, government organization, or any cause-based initiative, I encourage you to reach out or share this message. AdvoCast is here to support you in sharing your story and driving meaningful impact. #Storytelling #CauseBasedWork #Impact #PodcastingForGood #nonprofit #communications #pr #publicsafety #education https://advocast.media

👉🏽"It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings." Ann Landers 🤱🏾Today, I come to you as a parent filled with joy and amazement at my daughters. 🗓Yesterday, my 17- and 11-year-old daughters volunteered as greeters at the Table Talk Grant Launch event by Mill + Co. 🍽 It was an evening of bonding and networking as we made charcuterie boards, but we gathered for an even greater cause—a cause created by my dear friend Rachel (Ballatori) Bellman. 💪🏽Rachel saw the opportunity to support women entrepreneurs and others who often don't receive the prioritization and resources they need and deserve to build thriving businesses. 💪🏽If you know me, you know that when there’s a worthy cause designed to make a positive impact on the community, I’m there, cheering and supporting. 💪🏽This time, my daughters joined in, volunteering for a cause that truly matters. They served as greeters at the door of the event, encouraging attendees to donate to the Table Talk Fund. 😍What made me even prouder was the incredible feedback I received from attendees. They said my daughters took their roles seriously and did a phenomenal job. 👉🏽It's moments like these that remind me of the importance of teaching our children the power they have to lead and serve in their community. 👉🏽I am convinced that the foundation of true leadership is built in early childhood. Happy Thursday❗️ How’s everyone holding up? #communityengagement #volunteer #supporting #womenownedbusiness #leadership #inspiring #motivating #networking #innovation #tech #emergingtech #youthempowerment #youthleadershipdevelopment
