5-50-500 in sight for Sandbäckens with strong local leadership Last week, Sandbäckens, a part of Nimlas Group, brought together the managing directors from local companies all over Sweden, to advance their 5-50-500 strategy: SEK 5 billion in revenue, 50 new companies, and SEK 500 million in profit. One Inc had a great time at NAILBA! Cal Ripken's timeless truths of perservering, being tied to a P&L, and treating everyone as a individual certaintly ring true for the L&A industry. The two biggest insights from the week: 1) L&A will remain a relationship and Agent driven business! 2) There are better ways to do things with insurance centric technology. Carriers that are embracing partners and getting away from the nostalgia of building everything themselves are the ones winning!

Knowledge is Power

Today it was finally announced that I am stepping out of the CEO role at Netlight! This transition has been part of the plan since I stepped into the role over three years ago, and it’s fantastic news! Firstly, Anders Thall will do an outstanding job in the role alongside Katri Junna. Secondly, this change highlights one of the most remarkable aspects of Netlight: the rotation of the CEO role. When we introduced the concept of having two co-CEOs who rotate every few years, our goal was to align leadership with Netlight’s core principles. Instead of having one person hold the position indefinitely, we sought a structure that reflects our collaborative culture that does not require titles. At Netlight, the CEO is not an ultimate leader but a representative of the Partner group towards the board and owners. The rotation model allows Partners to step into and out of the role seamlessly, without prestige or hierarchy. It’s not a promotion to take on the role, nor is it a demotion to step out—it’s simply a shift in responsibilities. This approach not only gives Anders Thall the chance to grow and thrive in the role but also allows me to refocus on advancing Netlight from a Partner perspective—something I’m genuinely excited about. Wishing all the best to Katri and Anders in this new chapter!
