"I can work here!? I want to become an engineer now” 👩💻 This past Friday, our Stockholm office was one of 130 workplaces taking part in Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGEday), a global initiative from Womengineer to inspire young girls and non-binary people to explore engineering professions. 27 curious participants released their inner consultants by building a mock webshop in hands-on workshops, assisted by an all-female Netlight crew. Tasks included data analysis, management, design, and development. It was an honour to introduce the group to Netlight and to contribute to building a more inclusive and gender-equal tech industry.  🗣️ "This is the space I didn’t know I always needed" Our Berlin office just hosted the first-ever Asian Descent Meetup with Figma, where over 80 professionals from diverse industries came together to share career growth experiences as Asian professionals in Europe: beyond usual business networking. Through panel discussions and interactive workshops, the event provided a safe space for attendees to challenge stereotypes, seek support, and gain new perspectives. As the night wrapped up, many attendees noted how a safer space like this enables attendees to be their best selves, with a healthy dose of fun to add to the mix. Creating safe spaces for underrepresented groups to connect, inspire, and empower each other is key to unleashing our full potential.
