Senior Procurement Consultant

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Senior Procurement Consultant (1099). The Senior Procurement Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading category management efforts, conducting thorough data analysis to influence decision-making, and providing consulting services to clients. The role demands a hands-on approach to ensure the delivery of high-quality procurement solutions.

This is a client-facing role, and you will be interacting directly with client stakeholders. Travel to client sites is required (generally 2-3 days per week, 1-2 weeks per month).

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement, along with prior experience in Procurement Consulting or Management Consulting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and E-RFQ sourcing platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Ability to travel to client sites 2-3 days per week
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field

We are looking to fill this role on a contract basis, and a successful first assignment would lead to a permenant position. Alternatively, for the right candidate, we would consider a permenant position directly.
