JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounts payable. This role will be integral in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners. You will report to co-founder Travis Talmadge working 5 days a week out of our Soho office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all financial reporting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Work closely with external accountants to support tax filings and compliance.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and reporting needs.
DESIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks & NetSuite)
Critical thinking—ability to identify inefficiencies, anticipate potential risks, and implement solutions that enhance accuracy and efficiency
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience in the hospitality or service industry is a plus but not required.
CPA or working toward CPA certification is a plus.

Pay: $100-115k base salary
