Industry leaders piloting Candescent’s new UI/UX re-design shared insights and success stories during the Candescent Accelerate conference panel discussion Creating Experiences that Captivate: What’s New and Next in UX. Here are some highlights, in their words. 1. Piloting the new Candescent UI/UX: We fell in love with the experience and jumped at the chance to provide a clean, more sleek, modern and sophisticated experience to our customers and members. Especially the customizations, options, and personalization. It’s an opportunity to keep up with what our members want, but also differentiate versus the competition. 2. Initial user experiences that were prioritized: - Encourage your customers to make it their own by setting their preferred greeting name, selecting their favorites, and turning off what they don't want to see. - Based on a solution assessment, do a general remake and cleanup of the More menu on the app, otherwise it can become a bit like a junk drawer for everything else. - Focus on promotion speed and pulsing to meet customers where they are as they're logging into the app, by email, and with a specific landing page. 3. Initial tips on optimizing implementation: - Engage your internal team as users to give experience input, develop power users in client service, and soft launch to employee groups to implement and document. - Bridge the experience for clients on both sets of technology. Take what you would do from a marketing standpoint with personalized offers and messages. - Use the project management tool to gather all feedback in one place as well as to create test scripts for internal integration teams; have them test these through. 4. Advice on enabling the next-gen experience: Start now, look at your current solution and understand what you want to keep or change. Understand your members' behaviors and what you're solving for. Test everything, screenshot your current app/desktop then compare it to the new UI once you test. Also test different accounts — different savings accounts, different loans, credit cards, everything. Touch every part of the home banking process. #Accelerate25 #Candescent #Banking #UX
