Job Description

BrceTech is seeking as a program manager (PM) overseeing Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to a federal research and development (R&D) portfolio management organization.

This support may include multiple task orders, overseeing 10-20 staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the alignment of products and components to business objectives
• Advising client on portfolio strategy and investment
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize value delivery across the portfolio
• Advise client, and manage team that will assist clients in analyzing operational data to identify inefficiencies and enhance product performance
• Provide strategic guidance to the client while leading a team focused on discovering, prototyping, testing, and validating innovative technologies.
• Oversee experimental projects, ensuring they are effectively managed from concept to execution.
• Communicate with the federal contracting officer and contracting officer’s representative
• Oversee the program, including personnel management, cost, schedule, risk, and assuring quality of all work and deliverables.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at 5+ years of experience
• Four years of experience in managing projects and programs, particularly in product management
• Excellent Microsoft office skills, especially Teams, SharePoint, Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with science and technology (S&T) or research and development (R&D) portfolio management
• Experience managing programs and projects for SETA support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to analyze, prioritize, and manage multiple products within a portfolio

• Knowledge of Agile development, Lean R&D methodologies, and technology road mapping
• Familiarity with operational forecasting
• Background in management consulting
