Description

SUMMARY

This Position is responsible for operating an automatic line and pack the finish product into a box. The processes consist in set-up the equipment depends in the production specs, weights and customer requirements. Operator is responsible to maintain all aspects of production runs during their shift, including shift end. Meet production standards and submit all shifts documents with accurate and detail information

Primary Responsibilities

  • Consume in the system (AX) material used during production and report any discrepancy to supervisor
  • Inventory accuracy in the work center
  • Match retain sample with actual production (validation of quality)
  • Train and instruct temporary employees within your WC.
  • Must fill the role of "Train the Trainer".
  • Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment, and keep work area clean and organized at all times. (follow 5s-GMP's)
  • Inform supervisor of any problems (equipment, material shortages, formulas, and employees) to the supervisor as they occur.
  • Performance allergen & dry changeovers and have QA sign off before starting the next round of production
  • Run efficiently and follow all procedures related to job responsibilities.
  • Report / communicate effectively any safety or equipment concerns to supervisor.
  • Must fill the role of "Train the Trainer".
  • Run a continuous process from one shift to the next. One operator taking over for the other operator (tag in tag out).
  • Execute CCP's documentation in RedZone effectively.
  • Report issues through RedZone to the necessary parties.
  • Communicate effectively through RedZone.

Qualifications

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Standing on a concrete floor.
  • Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, latex gloves,bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform).
  • Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Moving totes in place, loading tables, mixing tables, scaling, and palletizing frequently.
  • Required to work weekends during peak season.
  • Required to work mandatoryweekends and or overtime when needed.
