Collaboration, Partnerships, and Community Building Building strong relationships with key external stakeholders and affinity organizations will be key to your success. You’ll also:
- Foster partnerships with thought leaders and organizations to create opportunities for shared learning and collaboration.
- Support in-person and virtual events that build connections among scholars and between academics and non-academic audiences.
Project Management You will be the driving force behind the organization and execution of programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of project management tools to streamline operations and facilitate cross-team communication.
- Keeping projects on track with timely deliverables and accurate records.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 4 years in roles related to training, leadership development, member engagement, or teaching, with a preference for experience in grassroots organizing or organizer training.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proven ability to execute innovative programs or work in start-up environments.
- Policy & Press Knowledge: Familiarity with policy advocacy, economic policy issues, and understanding of the role research plays in policy making is a plus.
- Academic Experience: Understanding of academic culture and the career trajectories within academia is helpful.
- Project Management: Proficiency with tools like Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, or Salesforce.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Flexibility & Independence: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently, with some travel required.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone with a passion for strategy, training, and community-building to make a real impact. If you are ready to drive change and build meaningful connections within a network of scholars and policy influencers, we’d love to hear from you.
