" Performing long-term release planning based on organizational direction.
" Regularly interacting with project management teams to update the status of budget, quality, and schedule.

Responsibilities
This position serves as a senior-level IT project manager, providing oversight, leadership, and accountability for multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously or for a single large project. Responsibilities include:
" Functioning as a PMO resource to DTMB managers, supervisors, and staff involved in application maintenance and development.
" Developing, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules that are logical and resource-driven.
" Maintaining the change control process, managing, and tracking changes in scope.
" Identifying project issues and risks, escalating to senior management as appropriate.
" Monitoring project performance, reporting status, and facilitating the creation of action plans to ensure adherence to project schedules.
" Interacting with various teams to develop and maintain project schedules and related documents.
" Assisting in information gathering, budget analysis, project estimating, and procurement.
" Providing assistance on special projects and promoting compliance with the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE), potentially utilizing Scrum methodology and practices.
