Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a background in construction or engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare and submit detailed project proposals and bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates and project scope.
• Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary to reflect changes in project scope or costs.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate contracts.
• Review and analyze historical data to improve accuracy of future estimates.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in project management and knowledge of industrial, concrete, civil, excavating, structural building, and earthwork projects.
