About The Role
The Controller is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health and driving strategic financial initiatives. This role ensures compliance, manages accounting operations, and provides critical insights to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business growth.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SOX, tax filings, and audits.
Implement and optimize ERP systems to streamline financial processes.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and high performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations.
Proven expertise with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
CPA a plus
Experience in manufacturing or healthcare industries is a plus.
