Controller

Our client, a fast growth $1B publicly traded Technology Manufacturing firm is seeking an interim Controller consultant. This position will be responsible for day to day corporate accounting, financial statements, internal controls, and ad hoc finance projects. Dynamic, fast-paced environment with high level exposure! Looking for an ambitious, energetic leader who can execute at a high level while understanding business dynamics and strategic plan. Located in Rosemont. 5 days/week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities, including multi-entity consolidation, completion and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned
• Support continual process improvements and system enhancements
• Supervise accounting staff’s completion of month-end and year-end responsibilities
• Support implementation of financial systems, including upgrades and training
• Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leadership
• Lead team of 7-10 Accountants
  
  

Qualifications

• B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10-15 years of experience in progressive responsibility in mid-sized organizations, with several years in Controllership role
• Prefer CPA certification and Big4 public accounting experience
• Fortune 500 experience or fast growth Private Equity / VC owned company background preferred
• Experience in multi-entity international business
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
  
  

Salary Range: $90-100/hourly rate
