Overview:
Our client, a single family office based out of NYC is looking for an experience Financial Controller. In this role, you will prepare monthly financial statements, manage budgets, analyze expenses, and handle tax returns for multiple entities. You’ll work closely with the Family and Investment Team, manage banking across multiple currencies, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee insurance policies. The ideal candidate will be a licensed CPA with experience managing financials for family offices, structuring investment reporting, and developing financial policies.

Financial statement preparation and analysis
Expense and credit card spend analysis
Tax return preparation and tax process management
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero)
Investment reporting
Multicurrency banking and payment management
Vendor contract negotiation and management

Qualifications
8 to 10+yrs with Family Office experience
CPA preferred. Some tax experience a plus
