Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, core accounting transactions, budget and forecast support, and various reconciliations. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will assist with implementing a new ERP system and re-engineering existing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations and Team Support:

• Manage and review accruals across all business sections.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Assist the Controller in preparing quarterly reporting schedules.
• Support the CFO and Corporate Planning in budget and forecast preparation.
• Aid in the implementation of a new ERP system and the re-engineering of underlying processes.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and ledger integrity.
• Analyze financial statements, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues to the Controller and CFO as necessary.
• Oversee inter-company transactions, ensuring proper invoicing and reconciliation.
• Assist the Controller with periodic audits and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and other internal control requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required (MBA is a plus).
• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of three to four years of experience in Accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Experience with financial consolidation systems is advantageous.
