🇺🇸🤝🇰🇷 WTC Utah COO’s Visit to Korea | March 23–28, 2025 We had the great honor of hosting David Carlebach, COO of World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah), during his visit to Korea last week. His visit was filled with meaningful engagements that further strengthened the bridge between Korea and Utah. 📍One of the highlights was a seminar co-hosted by WTC Utah Korea(Asia) and LIN titled: “Investing in the U.S. during Trump Administration 2.0: A Focus on Utah”, where: LIN’s Managing Partner Jin Seok Lim opened the seminar with welcoming remarks, and David H. Yang and Taejoon Bae provided valuable legal perspectives on investing in the U.S. ⚖️ Tong Soo Chung, Country Director of WTC Utah Korea, served as moderator 🎤 David Carlebach delivered an insightful presentation on Why Utah 🌄 임강수 (Brian Lim), CEO of Medicell-Healthcare, shared his experience with Utah’s FDA support and highly business-friendly environment for biotech growth 🧬 Alex Miller from SelectUSA introduced federal-level investment support Beyond the seminar, David held productive meetings with key partners and stakeholders, including: 🏛️KOTRA, KITA, KHIDI, FKI, IFEZ, Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon Techno Park, and University of Utah Asia Campus Industry Foundation As well as innovative companies and experts such as: 💡 LS Electric, AILingGo, DDH, Pen Ventures, Kim & Chang, JNP Medi, Fieldcure, Corners, BioSolution, and Professor Man Ki Kim, Ph.D. We’re deeply grateful to all who welcomed David and engaged in such valuable conversations. His visit was a great opportunity to introduce Utah’s dynamic and supportive business ecosystem and the powerful network formed by Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity, World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah), and University of Utah .
