Utah’s business leaders have arrived in Montréal, marking the first stop of the Governor-led trade mission to Montréal and Toronto! 💻 The Artificial Intelligence track engaged with Espace CDPQ, the venture capital arm of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). Participants gained a deeper understanding of Montréal’s thriving start-up ecosystem, with a special focus on Québec’s life sciences and fintech industries. ⛏️ The Critical Minerals track had the privilege of meeting with Rio Tinto, a key player with operations in both Québec and Utah. The Québec Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests also joined, providing a comprehensive overview of the mining sector and offering guidance for business development opportunities in the region. The synergy between Utah and Montréal businesses is undeniable, and we’re looking forward to forging meaningful partnerships throughout the week! Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity
