Another successful National Women in Construction week is a wrap! Thanks to the team of volunteers, contractor leaders, and sponsors who made it highly informative, engaging and fun! Although women make up only 11% of the construction workforce, the industry’s gender wage gap is one of the best kept secrets around— the average woman makes 96% of the average man in construction vs. 82% of the average man’s pay in other industries. These women are rocking it in a male dominated environment. #womeninconstruction #nawic #bayareasmacna #therma #southlandindustries #dmg #siteline #Pan-pacificmechanical #RMW

Week 2 of introducing our Leadership Panel! Next up is: Mike Fisher - President at Therma. I started my career at Therma in 1997 after spending 15 years as a professional firefighter. Over the years, I had the opportunity to hold various positions at Therma, including roles in plumbing and sheet metal fields, project management, HR management, and risk management. In 2015, I was asked to co-serve as operations manager. Following the company's sale in 2017, I was promoted to Executive VP, overseeing Therma's three service departments: HVAC, plumbing and controls service. In 2021, I was honored to be promoted to President, and I currently oversee all Therma Northern California operations, which include three offices, our corporate headquarters, and 1200 employees. Our projected revenue for 2024 is approximately $450 million. On a personal note, I've been happily married for 32 years, and I'm a proud parent to two grown daughters and a grandfather to one wonderful grandson. Don't miss out—register now on Eventbrite and be part of this awesome leadership panel! 🎉 #WICWeek2025 #womeninconstruction #networking #leadership #success #leadershipdevelopment

We'll be introducing our leadership panel for WIC Week as we lead up to the big day! Hope to see you there, either in person or virtually, for this great event! First up: Carole Ann J. Carole Ann Janetzky, Preconstruction Manager at Pan-Pacific Mechanical, earned her engineering degree from Stanford University, where she was an active member of the Stanford Solar Car Project. Upon graduation, she began her career in Real Estate Development and Construction with the redevelopment of Historic Pier 70 in San Francisco’s Dogpatch district. During the pandemic, Carole pivoted and spent several years in Europe broadening her perspective. In the fall of 2022, she joined the Pan-Pacific Mechanical team, drawn by its leadership, commitment to construction excellence, and industry-leading approach to innovation and construction technology. She is currently working on the new Kaiser San Jose Replacement Hospital and has interests in efficiency, standardization, and technology. In her free time, Carole enjoys scientific cooking, hiking, biking, off-grid camping, and amateur astronomy with her husband and their two adventurous toddlers. #WICWeek2025 #WomenInConstruction #Networking #Leadership
