Colorectal cancer is the second deadliest in the U.S. According to the American Cancer Society, early detection is critical, and survival rates vary significantly based on the stage of diagnosis. The Walgreens Clinical Trials team recently completed a significant trial focused on early detection of colorectal cancer. Walgreens stores across the country assisted in recruitment efforts and served as the study sites for more than 680 clinical trial participants who may have been underrepresented in clinical research of previous decades.
