Meetings mean business in the Commonwealth - in 2023, 4.9 million travelers attended a meeting or convention in Virginia, with 51% staying overnight. These events generated $5.8 billion in direct spending, with $2.1 billion contributed solely by visitors. From world-class conference venues to historic and scenic meeting destinations, Virginia offers the perfect backdrop for events of all sizes. State planners of the American Revolution 250 commemoration convened in Colonial Williamsburg this week for the third and final time for A Common Cause to All.
