Our teammate Erica Hogue is earning her black belt 🥋 And we’re excited to share her story as part of our #𝗩𝗚𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 series! Erica started Krav Maga training in 2019, driven by a commitment to self-betterment and safety. What began as a way to protect herself and her family quickly became something more. And after just a few months, she knew this was something she wanted to commit to long-term. It reignited the same internal drive she had as a competitive swimmer, pushing her to grow stronger, more confident, and more resilient. Now, five years in, she’s completed four belt tests with just two more to go before achieving her black belt. But it’s about more than self-defense. It’s about embracing challenges, showing up for herself, and thriving inside and outside of work. That’s the kind of determination and growth we celebrate at ViralGains. We’re proud to have Erica on #𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗩𝗚 for the past 8 years!

Our brackets might have flopped, but our East Coast watch party delivered. 🏀 For the second year in a row, we hosted our annual March Madness watch party at the Recreation Bar in NYC’s Financial District. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together for a night of hoops and catching up off the court. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a memorable night!

We helped a pharma brand reach patients with a rare 1-in-100 condition. And it led to a 42% higher click-through rate… Here’s how 👇 Every year, pharma advertisers spend billions trying to reach qualified audiences. But traditional targeting methods cast too wide a net, wasting ad spend on the wrong people. So, this pharma brand needed a better way to reach a small audience. Using Zero-Party Ads through VGHealth, we asked one simple, direct question: “𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘜𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢?” That changed everything. Instead of only relying on third-party segments, the brand reached qualified patients using self-declared data. Leading to a powerful set of results: 📈 42% higher click-through rate than standard segments. ✅ And a 31% higher audience quality score vs. industry benchmarks. VGHealth is privacy-first, insight-driven, and powered by AI to scale smarter targeting. ↳ Designed to focus on connect with the right voices, not assumed personas. We tipped off March Madness as proud sponsors of sfBIG's kickoff event! Last week, our West Coast Sales Director, Todd Levy, showed up for the lively San Francisco media scene to give back to a tight-knit, high-energy community. Over 50 professionals from the agency, publisher, and ad tech-side came ready to connect and compete. And let’s just say… Everyone came to PLAY. From the March Madness Grid Game to our VG Jersey Raffle, we were off the bench and in the action all afternoon. Congratulations to our raffle champions Kariem Herrarte, MBA, Michael Toma, and Jordanna Howard for sinking the winning shot! 🏆 And a big thank you to sfBIG and Kevin Collins for organizing another amazing March Madness kick-off party. We can’t wait for next year! #sfBIG

100+ leaders in healthcare marketing came together last week 👇 And Cory Ransom and Brian Mulderrig were in the mix, introducing VG Health to the industry at DigiPharma Connect 2025! Over the past 3 days, one key theme stood out: Healthcare brands are moving away from broad-reach campaigns and doubling down on personalized, one-to-one connections. We heard it firsthand from industry leaders and a client of ours, Amgen, sharing how they’re leaning into AI-driven personalization to focus on 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. That’s exactly where Zero-Party Data shines. ↳ Helping brands engage consumers in a way that’s compliant, scalable, and valuable. Thank you to DigiPharma for an incredible week!

SXSW 2025 reminded us of one thing: The best insights start with a conversation. This year, Allie Lucchetti Jensen and Samantha Ackah Raines represented #TeamVG at SXSW for an action-packed week! From keeping attendees refreshed at our hydration station to leading a scavenger hunt through downtown Austin, we were in the center of it all. The biggest takeaway? Brands are leaning into interactive, real-world experiences to deepen consumer connections and gather valuable insights. And at SXSW, brands engaged through in-person, immersive activations. Just like how zero-party data allows consumers to engage directly, sharing insights in a way that feels natural and valuable. A special shoutout to GSD&M for an incredible night featuring live music, local food trucks, and community-driven brands. We’re already counting down to next year!

In his latest Forbes article… Our CEO, Tod Loofbourrow, explains a missing piece in AI models. While teaching AI at Harvard University, Tod challenged a student to build a model to predict Kenmore Square’s parking chaos. They had plenty of data, but one missing piece made all the difference. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗯𝗶𝘁. ↳ The single most predictive piece of information that transforms an AI model’s accuracy. In this case, the student’s model was missing dates of the Red Sox games. And as any Bostonian knows, this can make or break a parking search! Once added, the model’s accuracy improved significantly. This lesson isn’t just for AI models, it’s essential in marketing in the age of data privacy and AI-driven decision making. • The right data is more valuable than large amounts of data. • And as privacy laws tighten, the most predictive signals become even more valuable. Tod challenges us to ask ourselves: What’s our zero bit? The one question that, if answered, would be most predictive of driving the action you are looking for. Then, figure out how to find it at scale and use it to build your targeting model. 🔗 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ehgbRDd5

72% of consumers expect companies to understand their needs. But here’s the challenge 👇 They don’t want brands secretly following them.
