I’m excited to announce that Luke Sciulli has joined Valinor as a Builder and Leader of our military medical innovation efforts. Luke is a former US Army Special Forces Medic (18D) that has a long history of leadership, research, and development in this arena and an inspiring story based on his own experiences with injuries sustained in combat (More on this here - https://lnkd.in/efSjF8-5 ) I first met Luke overseas and was on the mission when he was injured - which was seven years ago almost to the day - while we conducted a nighttime raid to free prisoners in Southern Afghanistan. Notably, I was on a break from my job in the US Senate as a National Security Advisor and had returned to active duty for the renewed push from President Trump against the Taliban and ISIS-K. This meant I got to see Luke a lot after the deployment while he recovered in the DC area. Since that time, I’ve had the opportunity to watch Luke return to a life of service for the US and our allies. He’s led efforts in response to Covid-19, completed multiple trips to Ukraine and Israel for humanitarian medical aid, educated US DoD on his learnings, and built innovative medical products to support the warfighter and save lives both home and abroad. It’s the mission focus we look for in all our Builders and I’m excited to help him scale this impact here at Valinor. Bernstein) became a rallying call, uniting individuals and institutions with a shared vision of American greatness. We founded NAIA to turn this vision into reality. To unleash America's builders, and restore America's position as a global industrial leader. NAIA will serve as the voice, visionary, and vanguard of this industrial revival. We will advocate tirelessly on behalf of our members to cut regulation, incentivize investment in key sectors, protect American workers, streamline government contracting and procurement, and more.
