Here’s what’s new: ✔️ New Cypress Campground Rd is now open to the public. ✔️ Old Cypress Campground Rd Bridge is set for demolition on 03/31/25 by United Demolition. ✔️ Ridgeville Rd Bridge is complete and will open once Banks Construction finishes roadway work. ✔️ Median barrier wall placement for Phase 1 of the I-26 Bridge over Cypress Swamp is scheduled for 03/17/25. ✔️ Phase 2 of the bridge will begin in Summer 2025 after the traffic switch by Banks Construction Company.   • 🚧 Flatiron-United JV – I-95 Widening Project Update 🚧 Our Flatiron-United Joint Venture (FUJV) crews are making steady progress on the I-95 Widening project in Lumberton, with multiple work zones active and significant milestones underway. Here’s the latest project team update from the site: ✅ Grading Crews continue operations in key areas, focusing on: 🔹 Mainline at Caton – Earthwork and site preparation are advancing to support future roadway expansion. 🔹 Mainline at CSX – Crews are maintaining steady progress to align with the project schedule. 🔹 At Hester – Grading efforts are ongoing in coordination with wall construction teams. ✅ Wall Crews are actively working on SB I-95 Mainline, ensuring structural stability and progress on retaining walls along the corridor. ✅ Crash Walls at CSX – Our teams are constructing critical crash walls to enhance safety and protect infrastructure in the railway corridor. ✅ Culvert Construction Begins – The 90-day ICT on Dawn has officially kicked off to facilitate culvert construction, a crucial component for proper drainage and long-term roadway durability.   • 🌟 Project Update: US 1/SR 4 Bypass - Toombs County, Vidalia, GA United Infrastructure Group (UIG) is proud to be subcontracted by McLendon Enterprises, Inc. for the project in Vidalia, GA. This Bid-Build project involves the widening and reconstruction of 4.903 miles of SR 4 in Central Georgia, including the construction of six bridges. Here’s an update on the progress so far: 🔹Bridge 1 (Little Rocky Creek): Completed, fully poured out, but barrier wall installation is still pending. 🔹Bridge 2 (U.S. 280 & GA Central Railway): Construction is currently underway, with work near the railroad starting this week. We’re aiming to set beams at this bridge by April. 🔹Bridge 3 (SR 292): Similar to Bridge 1, fully poured out and awaiting barrier wall installation. The project is approximately 60% complete, and we’re on track to meet our goal of completing the work by December 2025. Each bridge pair is uniquely designed, with varying substructures and superstructures, all consisting of high-quality materials and cast-in-place concrete components. This project is a significant milestone for UIG and the community, ensuring safer, more efficient travel along SR 4 in Vidalia, GA.
