UNC Lineberger researchers have demonstrated that combining two immunotherapy drugs with a targeted therapy drug proved effective in treating the most common form of metastatic colorectal cancer. The study’s findings are published in JCO Oncology Advances.

Big congratulations to UNC Lineberger's Angela Smith, MD, MS, on her induction into the Order of the Golden Fleece, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's oldest and most prestigious honor society. Smith is the associate dean for Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, and the department of urology’s vice chair of academic affairs and a professor of urology. She is also a member of the urologic oncology team at UNC Lineberger, where she treats GU malignancies, including bladder, prostate and kidney cancer.
