NAME's vision is accomplished through leadership, education, collaboration, advocacy, outreach, publication, and research. The NAME will continue to be the foremost authority promoting the highest quality forensic pathology practice and medicolegal death investigation in the world. The application of excellence in this medical practice will enhance public health, public safety and the administration of justice.

Case of the Week: This week's case is from Eleni Constantopoulos (Pathologists’ Assistant), Dr. Ross Reichard and Dr. Ross Zumwalt (Consultants/Associate Professors of Pathology), Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. It involves a 61-year-old man found dead in his secured residence. Autopsy revealed the finding shown in the photo. What was found at the scene of death? A. Multiple empty alcohol containers B. A white powdery substance and syringes C. Multiple empty spray paint cans and rags D. An empty anti-freeze container and a suicide note E.
