As we continue to provide immediate resources for individuals and families affected by the LA fires and work towards developing housing solutions for long-term recovery, we know that the only way to build LA back better is with a coalition of dedicated partners. Through our Together We Rebuild campaign, we have been fortunate to work with many incredible, mission-aligned partners, such as Guild Mortgage, who provided direct coaching and resources at our February 22nd event, A Day of Recovery and Resilience. We're excited to announce that Guild Mortgage is continuing to support our Fire Relief efforts with a $20,000 donation to The SoLa Foundation. This generous contribution will fund the second phase of our Together We Rebuild campaign: Housing. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Guild Mortgage Co., David Blazek, and Kriselle Cane for making this possible. #GuildGiving #LAWildfires #SocialImpact

Each year, we focus on collecting data and metrics on the efficacy of our social impact initiatives. We are pleased to share our annual Social Impact Report, reflecting the good work of many teams at SoLa Impact and The SoLa Foundation. In 2024, we focused on expanding our SoLa360 Resident Services Program, deepening our workforce and vocational training initiatives, and obviously, our focus on access to technology among our younger population via our SoLa Technology & Entrepreneurship program. SoLa’s programs served over 25,000 people in Los Angeles last year. The SoLa Foundation (our affiliated 501c3) and SoLa Impact expanded our relationships with our large network of incredible mission-aligned non-profits and corporations. This is creating an ecosystem of social impact, where the public sector, philanthropy, and the private sector can come together to improve the lives of thousands in California. In the wake of the devastating LA Wildfires, there is even more work to be done. While there are countless organizations and individuals to thank, we want to acknowledge Riot Games, Live Nation Entertainment, Howmet Aerospace Foundation, Ally Bank, Wells Fargo, Target, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Lakers and the National Basketball Association (NBA) Foundation, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Annenberg Foundation, Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), Los Angeles Kings, First Foundation Inc. Bank, Netflix, T.D. Jakes Foundation, among many corporate and community partners that enable this critical work. We also thank our investors and the SoLa Foundation’s donors for their trust and support. Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/gN6y2agx #SocialImpact #SoLaImpact #SouthLA

What a game! ⚽️ Last weekend, SoLa scholars and staff had the incredible opportunity to experience the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) vs. Austin FC match from the exclusive BMO Stadium Founder’s Suite. From the delicious buffet to the impressive stadium views, the experience was unforgettable. The energy in the stands was contagious as we cheered on our team, and while the final score wasn’t what we hoped for, the memories we made were priceless. A heartfelt thank you to Helen Seibel, Cheryl Kisob and the whole BMO team for sharing this opportunity with our staff, college scholars and volunteers.
