Excited to share that I have started as a Political Affairs intern at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the USA! 🇺🇸🇳🇱 As part of this experience, I will be gaining insights into international relations, diplomacy and transatlantic cooperation between the Netherlands and the United States. Working in such a dynamic environment allows me to apply my background in law, engineering, and policy to real-world challenges. Explore the Black Atlantic through the diverse stories of local artists in the historical port cities of Baltimore and Rotterdam, through exhibitions in both countries and an exchange program. Featuring works by Schaun Champion (Baltimore), Charles Mason III (Baltimore), Naomi Rozalina King (Rotterdam), kolpeace (Baltimore), Djon Louis Seedorf (Rotterdam), and Tarona (Rotterdam). Among many benefits of global internships are increased flexibility and adaptability, along with increased intercultural skills, which are desired in the 21st-century job market. These findings and more are outlined in a recent report between the Institute of International Education and CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. The NAF offers a number of internship grants to alleviate the financial burden in pursuing an internship abroad, notably the Dutch2USA Internship Grant and USA2Holland Internship Grant.
