February is National Senior Independence Month! In a recent study by the University of Michigan Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, 88% of adults aged 50-80 felt it is important to remain in their homes for as long as possible. At The Legacy Project, Inc., we strongly believe in the desire for older adults to age how they their wish, and to honor their desire of living independently. For our monthly webinar series, we will be hosting an event this Thursday February 27, 2025 at 5:30 EST focused on the importance of senior independence, as well as how to create an action plan to support older adult independence in our host communities.
