The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation is proud to celebrate the opening of the Kem and Carolyn Gardner Crisis Care Center, a significant milestone for mental health care in our state. Operated by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, this center represents a transformative step forward in providing urgent and compassionate care. Gail Miller and her husband, Kim Wilson, recently toured the facility ahead of its opening, where they had the opportunity to see its state-of-the-art design and the second floor, which will be named the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Integrated Healing & Innovation Floor. Congratulations to the Huntsman Mental Health Institute at the University of Utah on this incredible achievement! We look forward to the impact this center will have on our community.

Thanks to the partnership with Larry H. Miller Real Estate, Utah Transit Authority and the City of South Jordan, the new South Jordan Downtown TRAX Station is open for business in Downtown Daybreak months ahead of schedule.   The new stop on the TRAX Red Line will drop riders just steps away from The Ballpark at America First Square – the new home of the Salt Lake Bees and the first Megaplex cinema entertainment center complete with luxury bowling, cinema experiences, games and more.   Whether you’re watching a baseball game, catching a movie or looking for a new place to eat, or live, Downtown Daybreak in South Jordan has something for everyone, and getting here has never been easier.   This is just the beginning.   For more information on the TRAX Red Line, visit rideuta.com.

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting the University of Utah Miller Enrichment Scholars for a special networking event at the Larry H. Miller Company offices. These bright, driven students engaged with our executive team—gaining insights into leadership, career growth, and the skills that shape success. A huge thank you to our executives for sharing their time and experiences, and to our scholars for their enthusiasm and thoughtful questions. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see where your journeys take you! And of course, no great conversation is complete without great refreshments. Members of the Miller family recently visited the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point to celebrate a $325,000 donation through the Miller Legacy Project, a next generation philanthropy initiative of the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation. This multigenerational gift —contributed by 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren— will support renovations to the infant and toddler area, creating a safe and enriching space for the museum’s youngest visitors. “I’ve loved visiting the Museum of Natural Curiosity from the time my first child was a baby. Every time I go, I’m reminded of the power of exploration and discovery, especially for young children. The energy at the museum is inspiring and we saw an opportunity to enhance it even further,” said Alyssa Wardle, a third-generation Miller Family member. Construction for the Museum is set to begin July 2025 with completion set for December 2026.

Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres had the honor of participating in Utah Culture Industry Advocacy Day at the Utah Capitol. This annual event brings together the arts, humanities and film community to spotlight how essential these industries are to the Beehive State. It was a pleasure connecting with industry partners, Utah’s policymakers and members of the community for a day appreciating history, art, music and movies. 🎬🍿
