IC3 is somewhat under the radar powerhouse in the blockchain industry, when I first got acquainted with IC3 I thought it’s an org where some of the top researchers and developers were collaborating, I remember the days I’d follow the work of legendary minds like Prof. Emin Gun Sirer, founder of Avalanche or Phil Daian, founder of Flashbots even before they founded their respective projects. It’s with great honor that the work we’re doing at the SpaceComputer - Orbital Root of Trust project was selected to join the inaugural The Initiative for CryptoCurrencies & Contracts (IC3) accelerator program Stoked to meet legendary builders and collaborators next week in Cornell Tech campus in NYC for the IC3 demo day! And of course, the main kudos goes to the stellar team: Prof. Dahlia Malkhi, Amir Yahalom Filip Rezabek, Matej Y., David Langellotti and others !
Demo Day is almost here! The IC3-Cornell Accelerator Projects will be showcasing their work during the Cornell Blockchain Conference on April 25th. Here's what you need to know: 📍 Demos will take place from 3:50 PM to 4:50 PM EST during the main conference at Cornell Tech. Prof. Ari Juels will kick things off with an introduction to the program, followed by presentations from each team. There will be time for Q&A at the end. A bit of background on each of the projects: 🔹 Spacecoin - Orbital Root of Trust is a satellite-based consensus system for secure computation. Built on Cryptosat, it delivers TEE-like functionality using tamper-proof satellite nodes. Team: Daniel Exponent, Filip R., Matej Y. Research: Prof. Dahlia Malkhi 🔹 Sparsity is billed as the first universal acceleration layer, enabling dApps from any blockchain to run in real-time with unlimited throughput (no migration required). Team: Justin Zhang, Charnjit Bansi, Wade Sung, Joanne Chen, Conrad Shelton 🔹 BitGPT is building an AI agent network to onboard the next billion web3 users. Team: Lia Müller Peña, Jaipal Singh Goud, Simone Giacomelli Fun fact: The founders also helped build Decentraland and SingularityNET 🔹 AgentBall is creating infrastructure for an onchain economy of autonomous AI agents. Team: Lanyin Zhang (former IC3 intern), Cici Wang Fun fact: AgentBall was awarded Most Innovative Use of CDP SDK by Coinbase Developer Platform at ETHGlobal Bangkok. 🔹 Prinx is an exchange for tokenized pre-IPO shares. It buys shares from secondary markets, tokenizes the rights, and pools them on Uniswap. Team: Brendan McShane, Patrick Sullivan, Esther Li, Yi Tong, Prerana Reddy We’re excited to watch the Accelerator teams show us what they've been building! Come join us and reserve your spot ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gVqysGTd
