So proud of our Eisner Prize Fellow Mariela Briceno's achievements! Check out the launch of her intergenerational "Getting Pitch-Ready" program below.
12 Latina entrepreneurs. 1 mission: Getting Pitch-Ready. 🚀 Hispanic women building businesses in the U.S. don't kid around: They have grit, vision, and relentless determination. But the reality? Many are doing it without access to funding or local networks. Worst yet: the resources they have are in english! That’s why Getting Pitch-Ready exists. Powered by Venprendedoras and supported by The Eisner Foundation this bilingual, co-generational program brings together 12 founders ready to scale. We kicked it off at GROU Coffee + Cowork with panels, coaching, and strategy talks. No fluff, just clarity. Then we got tactical: two full days at the The Idea Center at Miami Dade College diving into financials, refining projections, and learning how to pitch like bosses (in English and Spanish). What makes this program different? ✅ Real-world coaching ✅ Age-diverse collaboration ✅ Business model validation ✅ Financial fireproofing ✅ Public speaking confidence As the program director for Getting Pitch-Ready, I’m not here to just teach pitching. I’m here to help these women own the room. Their final pitch is coming soon, and it’s going to be 🔥. Big shoutout to the team Mariela Briceno ANA ERAZO Michelle Sthefany Peñalver This is what empowered entrepreneurship looks like. Stay tuned!
