The Horse of the Sun Ranch is operated by Armed Services YMCA San Diego and was recently awarded $50K through the Prebys Healing Through Arts and Nature Initiative. They help families reconnect and heal through equestrian activities, nature experiences, and outdoor programs in the Cuyamaca Mountains. 🐴 "Having a place like the ranch to come to and step away from the day-to-day, just to be in a peaceful place, had a lasting impact for us. It gave us a place to bond and experience a bit of peace before the storm, so to speak.” -Director of Development and previous visitor, Liza Talbott. We're excited to announce the acquisition of 401 B Street—known as Wells Fargo Plaza—in the heart of downtown San Diego. This iconic 24-story tower will serve as a cornerstone in our vision to reimagine downtown as a vibrant hub for business, arts, creativity, and community engagement. This investment is more than just a real estate purchase; it's a declaration of our belief in downtown's potential to be a dynamic center of commerce, culture, and civic life. We envision a future where downtown San Diego is a place of innovation, connection, and civic renewal—a place that welcomes all who call this region home and those drawn to its promise. As part of our commitment to San Diego's revitalization, we plan to collaborate with tenants, community partners, stakeholders, and others to ensure that 401 B Street becomes a vibrant and inclusive platform for public engagement, cultural expression, and innovation. This acquisition aligns with our broader mission to create an inclusive, equitable, and dynamic future for all San Diegans. By investing in downtown, we're embracing the opportunity to help write its next chapter—one defined by shared prosperity and cultural vitality.
