With 𝟮𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and high-level research centers in multiple areas. 🐙In TENTACLE, this institution is 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 “𝗘. While current treatments rely on highly invasive surgeries like proctocolectomy, our project is developing 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 using 𝟰𝗗 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲. 𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 are affected by FAP or UC, with a 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀. 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗟𝗘’𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘂𝘁 🏥✨ On January 20-21, leading scientists, surgeons, and medical experts from across Europe gathered in Würzburg, Germany, to 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗟𝗘, an EU-funded project set to revolutionize 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. With a strong focus on 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆, in-situ 4D bioprinting, and precision medicine, TENTACLE aims to develop 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 that reduce patient trauma and improve surgical outcomes. Backed by 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘀 under the 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, this four-year project brings together 10 partners from 6 countries, combining expertise in biomedical engineering, tissue engineering, and endoscopic surgery.
