Meet our new hire Calvin Curtis! 1. What’s your educational background? I graduated from Ivy tech community college with associate of applied science Construction Technology (Plumbers and steamfitters Local 157). I also have my firefighter 1 2. What do you do for TEiC and what does it entail? Managing a Coal to gas change over project. Insuring the work is completed Safely, Correctly, and on time. 3. What work experience do you have that helped you get this role? I have 18.5 years as a pipefitter/welder in the oil, gas chemical, water treatment, steel mills. I have managed multiple projects. I have help estimate a couple projects. I have my STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor Construction). 4. What are 3 things you’d like to share about you? I have 3 sons and 1 daughter (Cody 23, Kyler 21 Nolan 19, Cynthia 23).One granddaughter (Nola 2). I also have a golden retriever (Luna). I enjoy Hunting, Fishing, Golfing, all sports, going on cruises, going to concerts, or going to listen to live bands, weekend trips, and building or remodeling homes when I have time, Flying my drone. I also love to volunteer I use to be a volunteer firefighter.
