At #TGI, we are committed to driving #innovation and advancing #geospatial capabilities to drive better #decisionmaking and #commercialization of #geospatialtechnology. ✅ Christie Capper and Johannes Buchen from #DeepEarth shared their work on a geothermal atlas for energy transitions. ✅ Sean Gorman presented Zephr.xyz’s location-aware LLMs powered by GPS-location-enabled GenAI. ✅ Hamed Alemohammad discussed Clark University’s models for tracking and predicting land cover changes. ✅ Daniel Sheehan showcased Crosswalk Labs’s intelligent agents enabling emissions models for buildings. It was inspiring to see these #generativeAI projects -- two focused on enhancing decision-making in daily life and two driving community and policy value through #landuse and #emissions tracking. I will have larger sample results and model evaluation metrics to share. Integrating web-based search APIs (SerpApi and Tavily) and agents for data augmentation, such as enhancing building information, yields more accurate results than relying solely on Amazon Bedrock’s Foundation Models (FMs) and prompt engineering. However, FMs, agents, and prompt engineering are critical for summarizing and parsing unstructured response data.
