As cancer care facilities continue to morph and flex to accommodate ever-evolving diagnostic, treatment and recovery advancements, one thing remains unchanged and paramount - keeping the user's experience at the heart of design. In our latest Tech Talk, “Patient-Centered Design in Cancer Care: Making it Personal,” Taylor Design’s Heather Kampa CID, WELL AP, EDAC, Principal | Project Director, explores designing for cancer patients, their families, and healthcare professionals with empathy, creativity, and consideration in order to improve outcomes. https://lnkd.in/gm8P-kye #WeAreTaylorDesign #LoveWhereYouWork #DesignThatEmpowersPeople #WeAreHiring #TechTalk #CancerCenterDesign #CancerCenter

As we near the completion of our San Mateo Medical Center project, we’re reflecting on what an incredible journey it has been. Every step has been a testament to teamwork, dedication, and excellence. A huge thank you to our amazing partners at County of San Mateo and Truebeck Construction for their collaboration in bringing this vision to life! #WeAreTaylorDesign #LoveWhereYouWork #DesignThatEmpowersPeople #WeAreHiring
Demolition isn’t just about tearing things down—it’s about strategic planning, precision, and protecting what matters. At the County of San Mateo Health Campus, Truebeck faced the unique challenge of demolishing the 1954 Building without disrupting the attached, fully operational North Addition, home to critical hospital services like a 24/7 blood lab. The key to success? A creative retrofit solution that kept the shared exterior wall intact while we demolished the rest of the building with surgical accuracy. This approach ensured patient safety, met OSHPD codes, and minimized disruption—all while staying on schedule. #SmartDemolition #ConstructionExcellence #HealthcareConstruction #Truebeck #TruebeckConstruction Bayview Services Inc.
