We’re excited to share that we have successfully closed a $150 million debt facility with Neuberger Berman!  This facility will support our rapidly growing business in Mexico, enhance our lending capabilities, and fuel our ongoing mission to deliver truly scalable, data-enabled financial infrastructure that unleashes the economic power of the global majority. With initial committed capital of $75 million, the facility enables Tala to draw up to $150 million, making this our largest capital markets transaction to date. What a week for the Tala México team at the #FinTechMéxicoFestival! We were thrilled to open our doors to leaders from Nu México, Stori, Mastercard, Visa and other industry-leading companies for an onsite visit at our offices, where we shared about the work we’re doing to empower the global majority! Throughout the week, our very own David Lask and Liliana Herrera Martin also delivered powerful keynotes and participated in lively roundtable discussions on the topics of financial health, credit regulation, and consumer protection in the country. A huge thank you to FinTech México for creating the space and allowing us to be a part of all the fun!

A few weeks ago at the Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi, Tala Kenya's General Manager, Mumbi Annstella, took the stage to discuss innovation and the future of fintech alongside a group of esteemed panelists.
