  • Talking about it is one thing – taking action is another. At SHG, we’ve encouraged our team to prioritise their health by getting checked for prostate cancer. We believe that early detection can save lives, which is why we’re making sure that awareness turns into action. A big shout-out to every man at SHG who’s taken the important step to get checked, this month! Your health matters; and, by getting checked, you’re setting a positive example for the rest of us. Whether it’s sharing vital information, normalising conversations or reminding each other to book an appointment, we’re committed to supporting each other in taking the necessary steps. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men, and early detection plays a critical role in improving treatment outcomes. A simple PSA test or DRE can catch it early, making a real difference. We’ve taken the step – have you? #ProstateCancerAwareness #GetChecked #MensHealth

  • This month, we’re not just raising awareness of prostate cancer – we’re taking action. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men, with 1.4 million new cases, globally, each year. It’s also the fifth leading cause of cancer death, with 375,000 lives lost in 2020. Risk factors include age (especially over 50), family history and ethnicity, with African American men at higher risk. Early detection is key – PSA tests and digital rectal exams (DRE) can help identify prostate cancer early and improve outcomes. At SHG, we’ve delivered 25+ research projects in this space, from patient journeys to treatment landscapes. But it’s not just about research – we’re also encouraging the men in our team to get checked, because awareness leads to action. Know the risks. Book a check-up. Start the conversation. #ProstateCancerAwareness #MensHealth #EarlyDetectionMatters

  • At SHG, we don’t just talk about quality – we deliver it. 🔍 Our qualitative research uncovers the real patient experience of Fabry disease, shaping strategies that put patients first. Numbers alone can’t capture the full patient experience. By combining in-home interviews, patient-tracking surveys and follow-up conversations, we explored how Fabry disease affects daily life – physically, emotionally and socially. Recruiting for rare diseases comes with challenges – but a thoughtful, patient-first approach makes all the difference. Partnering with patient associations and adapting to infusion schedules allowed us to engage meaningfully and uncover insights that are shaping future care strategies. Read the full case study and find out how SHG’s qualitative research can drive more informed decision-making: https://lnkd.in/eYbu4JVd #QualitativeResearch #PatientExperience #RareDiseaseResearch
