The "Disney Bubble" is a powerful thing many of us at Storyland Studios were part of creating when working for Disney. There are lessons here for every organization. At its heart it's about having a powerful story, and telling it in 3 dimensions: 1. Strategic Storytelling - "Story that walks away with you." More than just "brand," it's the emotional feeling your customers get when they think about you. 2. Interactive Storytelling - "Story you engage with." It's not only your digital presence, but any interaction your customers have, which gets into the realm of culture, attitudes and behaviors. 3. Spatial Storytelling - "Story you walk into." Whether it's permanent locations like your office, retail outlets, resorts, restaurants or entertainment venues; or temporary places like mobile marketing vehicles, trade show booths or pop-ups. When all 3 dimensions are driven by a compelling story, that's when the magic happens.
