Two days ago, we had an amazing time connecting with students of Forest High School at the Future Ready Fest. Our SR1 team led a fun and interactive session, helping students explore various career paths and how to build a successful journey from college to career 🎓➡️💼. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to explore various career simulations and gain valuable insights into their future possibilities! Our organization provides free C.O.O.L™ services in health, education, and technology to K-12 students. What a colorful feast! 🌟 Our SR1 International & Multicultural Services (SIMS) Department Community Liaison, Mrs. Tiza, wowed us with an authentic Cuban lunch that was nothing short of amazing! Here’s what we got to savor: Arroz con Gente🍚 Ropa Vieja🍖 Platanitos Maduros🍌 Ensalada de Lechuga y Tomate🥗 Yuca Hervida🥔 Camarones Asado🍤 Cuban Capuchins🍞 We had a blast diving into Cuban culture through this tasty spread and also picked up some great tips on choosing well-balanced meals and being mindful of what we consume. 😋Can’t wait for more culinary adventures!
