Emergency care wasn't designed for women—a reality reflected by troubling healthcare disparities. Studies show that women wait 30% longer in ERs than men do while receiving a lower quality of care, leading to worse health outcomes for the same conditions. This Women's History Month, Sollis Health facilitated crucial conversations at NYC and LA gatherings where healthcare innovators, female founders, and members shared insights and experiences. It became clear that tackling the barriers to better health for women requires that providers listen to patients. Better healthcare can't happen without putting their valuable feedback first. Throughout March, we shared women's emergency care stories that resonated deeply with our community. These conversations reinforce why Sollis was founded in the first place: to provide personalized concierge medicine that's 24/7, 365. This unique approach keeps all of our members (not just women) out of the ER 99% of the time while interrupting the long waits, lack of care continuity, and impersonal interactions where gender disparities often arise. Long after the news cycle has moved on, recovery from January's catastrophic wildfires in Los Angeles is still underway. While initial relief efforts were crucial, rebuilding and healing is just as important—and can’t be done overnight. Sollis Health is proud to support the International Medical Corps, which continues to provide vital healthcare services to those impacted by the fires. Los Angeles isn't just the location of our Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Manhattan Beach centers. It's also home to our staff, our members, and their families.
