  • "They found that the principals at the Denmark-based company — now the newest investor in Nashville's homegrown solar-power startup that's on a sizzling growth streak — have uncannily similar values and views on the potential for renewable energy in America." Great read by Adam Sichko (Nashville Business Journal) on Silicon Ranch's new partnership with AIP Management and how we're scaling up our operations to continue supporting healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities across the United States. #MakingSolarDoMore

  • Today, Silicon Ranch is proud to announce that AIP Management, a leading investor in energy and diversified decarbonization infrastructure based in Denmark, is investing in our company, adding another meaningful partner to our shareholder group whose long-term vision aligns with ours. Read more in our joint announcement: https://lnkd.in/eDXA64in   “This investment builds on our strategy of partnering with high-quality infrastructure platforms. Silicon Ranch is a leading independent power producer with profound local expertise, an embedded presence in the communities it serves, and a fully integrated approach to delivering clean power at scale.” - Kasper Hansen, CEO and Managing Partner of AIP   “Silicon Ranch is pleased to welcome AIP as our newest strategic partner and eager to add their rich experience in long-term infrastructure investment and deep understanding of our sector to our shareholder base. With the support of AIP and our other shareholders, Silicon Ranch is well-positioned to execute our growth strategy as we partner with our diverse set of customers to deliver necessary energy infrastructure, all while helping American communities become stronger, healthier, and more resilient.” - Reagan Farr, President and CEO of Silicon Ranch   #Infrastructure #Investment #MakingSolarDoMore

  • #WomensHistoryMonth is an opportunity to reflect not only on the historic contributions of women to social, economic, and technological progress but also to celebrate the work women are doing today to shape a brighter future for our communities. At Silicon Ranch, we have the good fortune of partnering with many remarkable women who are innovating and improving best practices in the energy and agriculture sectors. Read the blog linked below to learn more about the incredible work being done by our partners Roxanne Newton, Anna Clare Monlezun, PhD, and Dr. Andrea Lear; the women who are putting the "Farm" in "Solar Farm:" https://lnkd.in/eHBNWsEw #MakingSolarDoMore

  • Great to see our co-founder Governor Philip Bredesen feature on the cover of the Nashville Post's Leaders 2025 issue. As the Nashville Post celebrates 25 years in publication, their team has taken this opportunity to highlight the people who have had the greatest impact on our home city over the past 25 years. As Nicolle Praino writes in the magazine's "25 Leaders for 25 Years list," in addition to "his mayoral terms spanning 1991 to 1999," during which "he recruited the Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators to make the city a premier pro-sports destination" and "expanded the library and parks system and funded the opening of several new public schools," Governor Bredesen is "an entrepreneur in the health care and technology sectors, serving as the founding chairman of Clearloop and Silicon Ranch, the latter being one of the largest independent energy producers in the country." The article goes on to observe that "even acknowledging what he did in the 2000s as the 48th governor of Tennessee is enough to consider Bredesen one of the top influences in Nashville. Bredesen is praised for his fiscal management, leading the state through the 2008 recession and earning a AAA bond rating just two years later. He also established a statewide pre-K program and increased teacher salaries. Bredesen is credited with redesigning the TennCare health insurance model and establishing a children’s health insurance program. Under his tenure, the state recruited Volkswagen’s manufacturing operations and Nissan Motor Corporation’s North American headquarters and invested millions of federal dollars into jobs for renewable power production." Everyone at Silicon Ranch is proud of the impact that Governor Bredesen continues to make on our company, our home city, and our state. #MakingSolarDoMore #Leadership

  • Silicon Ranch was proud to be a Bronze Sponsor of this year's Blue & Gold Gala, supporting the Georgia FFA Foundation and its mission to invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the impact of FFA on students across Georgia. Thanks to the Georgia FFA Foundation for continuing to make this a fantastic marquee event year after year. Fostering the next generation of leaders in #agriculture has never been more important, and Silicon Ranch is honored to support the Georgia FFA Foundation and its agricultural education efforts in a state with such a bright agricultural future. #MakingSolarDoMore

  • It was a privilege to welcome Kelsey and her colleagues from Solar Power World to our Houston Solar Project during the recent lambing season. Our #RegenerativeEnergy shepherds are making use of our on-site lambing barn to welcome the next generation of Silicon Ranch's genetic improvement flock into the world and to gather important genetic data about these lambs. Managing Editor at Solar Power World

Solar Power World editors flew to Georgia a week ago to witness (and help out with) lambing season on a Silicon Ranch Corporation solar farm. We watched the shepherds weighing and tagging brand new lambs, bottle-fed lambs ourselves and walked around the expansive solar array that they will soon help maintain. 10/10 solar trip.
