This project, referred to as the 'heartbeat facility', signifies Purdue's strategic expansion into Indianapolis and will serve as a central hub for students to receive top-tier education and career experiences. We are elated to be Purdue's partner on this giant leap.
“Having a building of our own is going to be really valuable.” Purdue University Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering student Ishita Mukadam believes Purdue’s Academic Success Building will strengthen the sense of community among Boilermakers like her in Indianapolis. Today, Purdue held the official groundbreaking for the building, which will be ready for use in May 2027! When it opens, the innovative facility will elevate hands-on learning and provide access to corporate and nonprofit partners — perfect opportunities for ambitious students like Ishita, who founded a student group to increase student networking with the medical and health care industry.
