We love when our clients visit our jobsites. Bowen is proud to deliver this collaborative water project which will mitigate a recurring Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) in the Bridgeport interceptor in Indianapolis. With Citizens Energy Group, TYLin, City of Indianapolis and B&O Trail association the design and construction of this 600,000 Gallon underground pipe storage project is progressing safely, on time, and on budget. The 11’ diameter pipes are efficiently configured under the rail trail providing a long-term solution for the community. We want to give a thankful shoutout to our field craft who are building this project which is progressing toward a summer completion. #Construction #SQP #TeamBowen #Water

It was an honor having the opportunity to share the work we've been doing alongside American Water and the City of Camden, NJ with our guests this past week. Thank you to all who came to learn more about this project and how we're working with American Water and Camden to deliver safe and clean water to the surrounding communities. Thank you!
American Water is proud to partner with the City of Camden, highlighting infrastructure improvements to continue safe, clean and reliable water service to 46,000 residents in the Camden community. "The Parkside and Morris-Delair Water Treatment Plants provide a critical service and benefit to the residents in Camden," said Victor Carstarphen, City of Camden Mayor. "Proactively upgrading our infrastructure allows us to continue the delivery of safe, reliable water service to our customers. These projects represent comprehensive investments and the commitment to enhancing resiliency and keeping safety top of mind for our community." The Parkside facility has been treating PFAS and other perfluorinated compounds from groundwater to meet regulations since January 2022. The Morris-Delair facility is expected to treat the proposed federal PFAS Maximum Contaminant Levels by the end of this year. Our team in Kentucky is increasing this facility from a 20 MGD combined sewer and stormwater treatment facility to a maximum capacity of 40 MGD. Part of this scope included converting the oxidation ditches from large mechanical agitators to forced air diffusers, which will provide significant power savings for this site. This team is 98% done & is expecting to reach completion next month. Great job, team! #SQP #Construction #WWTP #Water #TeamBowen

Our east coast team is working on installing PFAS treatment facility to remove PFAS and other contaminants from the community's drinking water. So far, they've constructed a 400,000-gallon backwash tank & 130,000-gallon clearwell, installed 16 Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) vessels, and completed the CMU building structure. Fun fact: This team has also poured more than 3,000 cubic yards of concrete to-date! Keep up the great work, east coast team! #construction #SQP #water #PFASremoval #PFAStreatment #teambowen

Safety and genuine concern for others are two of Bowen’s core values. Keith Winchester is demonstrating that firsthand. Each morning, he walks Ryah Jones, Tippecanoe third grader to her bus stop through an active construction site near her home. Ryah can even be seen wearing a pink hard hat that “Winnie” got for her. Keith, thank you for going the extra mile, a little kindness goes a long way. #teamBowen #sqp #construction

This project in Lafayette will provide water and wastewater services to the southeast of the City limits as part of the City's Long-Term Control Plan. This will consist of a Lift Station, Sanitary System, and Water system which will provide room for future expansion. This project is 31% complete, and this team is expecting to reach substantial completion in April 2026. Keep up the great work! #SQP #TeamBowen #Construction #Water #Wastewater
