Law Practice
Selendy Gay is a premier law firm devoted to the most challenging disputes.
About us
Selendy Gay's practice is dedicated to excellence in commercial litigation, investigations, appellate advocacy, and arbitration. We have gathered legal talent of the highest caliber—the smartest minds, the most agile courtroom lawyers, and the most creative strategists. By re-thinking law firm structure, operations, and culture, we have also crafted an environment for our lawyers to serve our clients’ needs with focus and efficiency. Putting our clients first includes learning their businesses to advise proactively and to be ready if crisis strikes. It also means bringing a strongly led, tightly-coordinated combination of talent and resources to each of our client’s priorities. Through critical thinking and collaboration, we offer an unmatched plaintiffs’ practice combined with a premier defense practice. Our partners have earned industry-leading reputations by winning trials of the highest stakes in nearly every type of complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and investigation. As plaintiffs’ counsel, we have pioneered claims, and even practice areas, that recovered billions of dollars and held institutional giants accountable. As defense counsel, we have won bet-the-company cases that threatened the existence of our clients’ businesses and business models, vindicated individuals in aggressive white-collar prosecutions, and counseled clients successfully in fast-moving investigations. We have tried dozens of cases to verdict in state and federal courts across the nation and arbitrated many cases through to award, often stepping in at the last minute to handle distressed cases at trial or on appeal. Our experience brings our clients better courtroom results and also better settlements, because our adversaries have no doubt of the courtroom threat we pose.

Selendy Gay supports Perkins Coie, Covington, and the American Bar Association in their courageous defense of the rule of law and rejects the notion that the government can punish lawyers for their choice of clients or threaten judges for presiding over cases adverse to the administration. We stand with the brave lawyers who will oppose any attempts by the government to intimidate members of the bar or judiciary for doing their jobs. We are proud of the great history of respect for the rule of law in this country and believe that the freedom and prosperity that have resulted from the separation of powers at the foundation of this republic are worth defending.

We are so grateful to our friends at Selendy Gay PLLC for hosting The Power of Debate on Wednesday evening. We were honored to have District Court Judge Sanket J. Bulsara address our supporters about the transformative impacts of debate in his personal and professional life. Judge Bulsara was appointed magistrate judge for the Eastern District of New York in 2017, becoming the first South Asian American federal judge on any court in the Second Circuit. He was then nominated by President Biden to serve as a federal District Judge and was confirmed in December 2024. Special thank you to Oscar Shine and Mark Dolgonos for coordinating and hosting the event. https://lnkd.in/eVM2r7He
