At the SAFE Summit 2025, Dan Holton, senior vice president of Low Carbon Solutions, discussed Lithium Leverage: The Importance of Western Supplies. During the panel, Dan discussed ExxonMobil’s first planned project in the Smackover formation, which will help expand domestic supplies of lithium and support the expansion of U.S. battery supply chains.
